Season 8 of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa is all set to hit TV screens from 11 July!
And apart from the popular faces like Radhika Madan, Vivian Dsena, Ashish Chwodhry, Sanaya Irani, Kavita Kaushik, Dipika Kakar and many more, there is also a lot of buzz surrounding Shahid Kapoor, who his making his television debut as a judge with the show. Others on the judges’ panel include Karan Johar, Ganesh Hegde and Lauren Gottlieb.
Now even before the show could launch, news of a contestant injuring himself has reached us.
It is none other than the good looking Ashish Chowdhry, who rose to fame in Ek Mutthi Aasman and then won the last season of Khatron Ke Khiladi.
Shares a source, “The actor was rehearsing with his choreographer Vrushali (Chavan), when during a lift, Ashish missed his timing, leading to a nasty fall. Though Ashish was fine, Vrushali hurt herself badly and was seen writhing in pain.”
The girl was given medication and now is doing fine and all set for their first performance on Jhalak stage.
But Ashish definitely was hit by guilt as he went on to post:

The magical dancer that Vrushali is also seemed overwhelmed by all the love and care that she received from Ashish and his fans. She tweeted:

Well all we can hope is that such accidents do not deter their efforts and the two continue to rock Jhalak with their dance moves!!!
Recently there were also reports of Vivian getting injured during the promo shoot of the show. We wish success and safety to all contestants.
