Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga reaches its climax; to air last episode on 18 October

It was an atmosphere full of mixed emotions on the sets of Jhilmil Sitaaron Ka Aangan Hoga (Rajshri Productions) yesterday (15 October 2013) with the cast and crew shooting for the show’s climax. And seeing the gloomy mood prevailing all day long on the sets, the production house made it a point to throw a small party for the Jhilmil team after the pack up. When we contacted Aamir Ali, better known as Saumya in the show, he said, “Rajshri Productions is an amazing production house to work with and I took up this show simply because of my rapport with them. It’s always a pleasure working with them especially Sooraj ji (Barjatya). I think I’ll only miss the narration meetings that I used to have with him. It’s lovely to watch him narrate every scene with so much of dedication.” Aleeza Khan, aka Angana, averred, “It was lovely being a part of Rajshri, but I just feel that everything came to an end too soon. Since I had just joined the cast, the news that the show was going off-air came as a shock to me.” “I am proud to have been associated with such a wonderful project. I will miss Aamir a lot as we had an amazing romantic chemistry on-screen. I will also miss Tejas and Tannu Chaudhary who played my on-screen devar-devrani. They are my friends off screen too now,” the actress added. Lastly, Sonia Singh, better known as Angie, said, “I was upset for almost three days as I had started living my character. In fact, this was the only show that I was so attached to after Dill Mill Gayye. On the whole it was a lovely experience to have worked with such sweet people (Rajshri). I just can’t believe that the show is coming to an end. I think I’ll miss Aamir, Karuna Pandey and my little on-screen sister Yukti.” The show will air its final episode on 18 October, 2013.
