Jiya Jale lead pair now in Angad

After Jiya Jale was yanked off the lead pair was completely out of work. Saurabh Pande and Sriti Jha will now make a great comeback in lead roles in Sphere Origin’s Angad . Both the shows have been 9X properties. According to a source from the show, “Saurabh is playing the lead role in Angad. Sriti Jha and Roshmita will be the two female leads. Sriti was also seen in Jiya Jale opposite Saurabh. Where Sriti will essay the role of Kalpika, Roshmita will essay the role of Suhani.” “The show will also mark the comeback of veteran actor Lilliput after quite sometime in a full fledged role. The actor is currently seen on and off in Yes Boss . The actor will be seen in a negative role of a jadugar (wizard) named Shundi. Aniruudha Dave will be seen in gray shades and Manish Wadhwa will play the negative in the show,” adds the source. Talking about the storyline, the source says, “It is a fantasy based show and is a fight between the good and the evil. The foundation of the show is the Dhruv flower. It is about two forces in the universe- negative and positive. The story is about a king who is blessed with a son who he christens as Angad. He is the one who will fight against the evil. The shooting is currently happening in Jaisalmer, Pokhran, Jodhpur. After a month we will return to Mumbai and will start shooting here.” When contacted, Saurabh Pande refused to comment and said, “I can’t divulge any details. One will have to wait and watch.” The show is slated to start in a month’s time on 9X in its primetime slot. Its interesting to note how a channel makes use of it’s out of its work actors.
