Jyotsna gears up for her ‘new look’ in Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka

Jyotsna Chandola

Elegant actress Jyotsna Chandola is excited about her new and different look in the post leap phase of Colors’ Sasural Simar Ka (Rashmi Sharma Productions).

The girl who entered the show in the bar dancer avatar has come a long way, as she has had a fruitful journey, wherein she has portrayed the worst possible negative shade, and also the nicest positive role possible.

Now again, Jyotsna as Khushi will be seen in her negative best, and will be giving all the wrong advises possible for Anjali (Vaishali Takkar), daughter of Simar.

While many other actresses usually brood over portraying an elderly character, Jyotsna is pretty convinced about her role and requirement of the story line.

Says Jyotsna, “There was a time when I kept saying that I will quit when the leap will happen. However the manner in which Rashmi mam convinced me was so very nice. KB (Khushi Bharadwaj), as I will be called now, will have a meaty role to play. I have all the opportunity before me to perform. What else do I need as an actor? Also, the icing on the cake will be my new glamorous avatar, wherein for the first time on TV, you will see a person wearing a cape over the saree blouse. I now feel at home working with Rashmi Sharma. This is my third show after Bhagonwaali, Mrs. Kaushik ki Paanch Bahuein. Also, I am part of Santoshi Maa.”

Ask her about the inputs she has given for her look and attitude, and the actress quips, “Of course, I have a new ‘taqiya kalam’ on the show which will go like this – ‘Kasam se’... I have found out a new way of wearing the saree; I got to take in this method after searching for newer fashion trends on google.”

Aww!! Check out Jyotsna’s unique styling as Khushi for Sasural Simar Ka.

Wish you all the very best, Jyotsna!!
