Kahani Chandrakanta Ki to go on-air in June

Chandrakanta, an Indian fantasy television series which kept the audience glued to the television sets will now be seen on Sahara One from June 6 on a prime time slot. Our source says, “Chandrakanta will launch with a generation leap. The new story has been adapted from Devaki Nandan Khatri's second novel 'Chandrakanta Santati' by Sunil Agnihotri, who also directed the original. However, this time the show will go on air on Sahara One from June 6 at 8 pm from Monday to Friday. As reported earlier the show was initially to go on air sometime in March but since its actors Rajendra Gupta and Vinod Kapoor met with a serious accident in March the show had to be postponed.” We tried contacting producer Sunil Agnihotri but he remained unavailable.
