Karan Mehra, (not to be confused with Karan of Yeh Ristha Kya Kehlata Hai) the popular actor from Virrudh and Remix, is super excited these days. This month, March, is mega for him. Why? The smart looking actor’s two films are getting released this month. First is a romcom titled Love Possible which releases today (16 March 2012). “Love Possible, which is directed by J H Nakhra, traces the growth of my character (Gaurav) from a boy to a man,” shares Karan with Tellychakkar.com. Talking about the story, he says, “Gaurav is a wannabe singer who is forced to look after his father’s business after the latter dies. He will be unable to pay attention to the running of the affairs of his company and start making losses. However, things will change when a new secretary (Shrishti Sharma) will come into his office and life and make him realize his responsibilities.” The film also stars Karan’s Remix co- star, Raj Singh Arora. After Love Possible, the handsome lad is looking forward to Mahesh Bhatt’s upcoming suspense thriller Blood Money. “I am playing an important role in the film but I can’t really divulge much at this point of time.” So how did you get this big ticket offer? “Well, last year I had done an important role in Sony’s crime series, Surya-The Super Cop. Mahesh sir liked my bearded character in that and decided to retain it in Blood Money.” Furthermore, Karan also had a very small role in Raj Kumar Gupta’s No One Killed Jessica. “Raj saw me in my play and offered me this minute long role. Initially, I refused but then later agreed on the hope that he will cast me in a proper role in his future project.” Looking ahead, Karan, who has also done Behnein on Star Plus, says that he will never quit television. “I am actor and I am ready to entertain my audiences across all genres, be it TV, films or theater (he has also done a play). In fact, I will return to the small screen by anchoring an upcoming travel food show on Food Food channel. One of the main reasons for my absence on mainstream TV was that I was not getting any interesting projects. Most of the themes in the recent past have had a rural backdrop and my language does not have that twinge,” he ends.
