Vikas Gupta’s sudden exit from Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 just two weeks before finale
The makers of Khatron Ke Khiladi 9 have told Vikas Gupta to exit the show owing to his shoulder injury. As per a leading media portal, Vikas has quit just when the show is two weeks away from the finale. And the reason for the same is his shoulder injury that he sustained during his stint in Bigg Boss Season 11. Vikas was performing his stunts exceptionally well, but he was taking the help of pain killer injections to subside the pain. It was later discovered that the pain killers could shoot up his heart rate and when combined with intense physical activity, could prove to be fatal. Thus the channel and makers, not willing to risk his life, asked Vikas to exit the show. Our sources tell us that Vikas' injury was all healed and was fine when he'd signed Khatron Ke Khiladi, but it re-occurred when he started performing the stunts.
Dil Hi Toh Hai actress bags Kasautti Reboot as Anurag Basu's sister
Since Ekta Kapoor has released the first promo of her much awaited show Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 starring Erica Fernandes as Prerna, fans have been waiting for the show to go on air. Yet another actress has joined the cast and it is none other than Roopali Prakash, who will be seen as Tapur Basu, Anurag's sister. The reboot is scheduled to go on air from 10 September and will take the 8 pm slot.
Asha Bhosle and Alka Yagnik to be a part of Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala
Star Plus' daily Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala has been receiving rave reviews for its brilliant storyline and performances by its actors, Aakriti Sharma, Mohit Malik, Anjali and others. With Independence Day round the corner, a special concert sequence will be aired for a week. Zee TV's Piyaa Albela is all set to go off air, but not before leaving a long lasting impression on the audience's mind. Ayaz Khan claims to fear the unknown
With its nail-biting drama and the thrill of the suspense, Colors’ Kaun Hai has been intriguing viewers with unique narratives on paranormal activities. Its upcoming episode titled Pind Daan features popular television actor Ayaz Khan who claims to fear the unknown. A source tells us that Ayaz believes in paranormal activity, but he has never had a firsthand experience of the same. At best, he describes it as a tingling feeling at the back of your head which you can only sense, but never know for sure which leads him to fear the unknown.
Despite this reservation, Ayaz took up the role in this horror show and the entire story unfolds in the middle of the pind daan puja, when the son of a dead man suddenly witnesses the tantrik's aatma haunting him. A mystery from the past unveils itself that brings to light how the dead tantrik was the boy's actual father, who wanted to sacrifice his child and gain more powers. However, the son believes that the man who died was his actual father only to realize later that he was the good Samaritan who saved him from the shackles of superstition and the wrath of his biological father.
Talking about his role, Ayaz Khan said, “Seeking new opportunities, especially those that are challenging is what excites me. Kaun Hai? has been a very different experience; the challenge of shooting for a horror show is that you need to be able to experience the supernatural like it is real. As an actor, exploring different genres is a must and I’m glad that I’ve got this chance. I’ve enjoyed being part of the story and I’m hoping to be a part of more such concepts.”
Dance Deewane‘s Ved Prakash has a huge fan following in Pakistan
Colors’ Dance Deewane, the most loved dance reality show on Indian television, has been surprising the audience with spectacular performances week after week. The upcoming episode will witness the contestants’ national spirited performance dedicated to our motherland especially for Independence Day.
Ved Prakash and Minal Dhapre from the third generation will be seen performing an action-packed song ‘Dhadhang Dhang’ from the movie Rowdy Rathore. The performance was loved by the judges and also the special guests, Akshay Kumar and Mouni Roy, who had come to promote their movie Gold.
Commenting on the performance, Madhuri Dixit said, “The performance was an entertainment blast with a lovely comic timing.” Akshay Kumar added, "I really love the energy both of you posses. After his performance, Ved Prakash was shown a video made by his fans from Pakistan. Two kids from the neighboring country sent a message expressing their love and admiration for Ved. While watching the video, Ved got emotional and remembered the struggles he faced in the past.

Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian Idol 10 has been enthralling the audience via the rocking judges and the super talented contestants. This Saturday the set of Indian Idol will be graced by the beautiful Bollywood Diva Sonakshi Sinha who will be promoting her upcoming movie Happy Phirr Bhaag Jayegi.
The Bollywood diva had an amazing time enjoying the splendid performance, but there was one person who kept Sonakshi and the crew entertained throughout the shoot. The person was none other than everyone’s beloved anchor Maniesh Paul. At his wackiest best, Maniesh requested the actress to dance on her own song ‘Saree Ka Fall Sa’ wearing a saree. Sonakshi, who is always known for her spontaneity, instead funnily requested Maniesh to dance with her on the song wearing a saree. Maniesh insisted that he will wear it only if Sonakshi drapes the saree on him. They gracefully accepted the request and the audience was in splits. Maniesh and Sonakshi rocked the stage with their amazing performance which kept everyone entertained.
A source from the set said, “The performance was purely entertaining. The way Maniesh draped the saree was very funny. Sonakshi also said that Maniesh is the best host in the industry and his humor is at its best. The audiences, judges and the contestants had an amazing time.”
