Nach Baliye- the show which is an intoxicating cocktail of celebrities, dance and drama- will return to television screens with season 8 by end of this year.
Spearheaded by Endemol India in the upcoming franchise (last year Ekta Kapoor’s Balai Telefilms had the reins), industry sources inform that the maker intends to provide a differentiating experience to the audience this time around.
Popular celeb couples have received a shout out from the production house, and talks are on to finalise the contenders for this season.
The latest jodi to enter the foray is Karan Singh Prince and Anara Gupta.
Karan, a politician, is also the co owner of BCL team Rowdy Bangalore. His swag befits him to be on camera as well.
Anara (Miss Jammu) is a popular Bhojpuri actress and sways sexily. The two definitely make for a winning combo.
So when did their love story begin? “It all began during a dahi handi function eight months back. We looked at each other and fell in love. It was love at first sight,” says a beaming Karan.
“Nach Baliye is a wonderful show and we are glad that we have been approached for the same. We are yet to sign the contract papers as there is still sometime for things to roll out officially. However, we are pretty much geared up for the contest.”
Before singing off Karan adds that he and Anara intend to solemnise their relationship by getting engaged during Nach Baliye season and get hitched after 2017.
Nach Baliye is expected to air from September 2016 on Star Plus. Other jodis who reportedly have been approached are Rubina-Abhinav, Juhi-Sachin, Roopal-Paras, Divyanka-Vivek among others.
