MUMBAI: COLORS’ recently launched show, ‘Thoda Sa Baadal, Thoda Sa Paani’ highlights the journey of a strong, independent woman through the protagonist Kajol (played by Ishita Dutta). While there has been much excitement about her character, the show will now introduce the lead character named, ‘Anurag Basu’.
Anurag will be played by heartthrob Karan Suchak, who shows strong potential in bringing the character to life. Anurag by profession is a cardiologist, but when it comes to matters of his heart, his relationship with his mother has strained his outlook towards women. While the character is yet to be unveiled on the show, Karan is quite confident that ‘Anurag Basu’ will be loved by everyone.

He mentions, “It feels great to be on the sets, it’s been more than 500 days since I’ve been on a full-blown set due to the pandemic. Although there were offers coming in, what mattered the most to me was placing myself at the right place and associating with the right work, and what could be better than working with a leading TV channel Colors on their new show. I'm excited to portray Anurag Basu's character in Thoda Sa BaadalThoda Sa Paani. Looking forward to giving my 100% and am thrilled to re-connect with the audience.”
