Kaun Banega Crorepati 11: Big B recites a poem by his late father Harivansh Rai Bachchan

MUMBAI: Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the most popular quiz-based game shows. The show entertains as well as disseminates information and knowledge. Currently, season 11 is on air and has kept the viewers hooked to the TV screens. The show is being hosted by megastar Amitabh Bachchan.

In the latest episode, a contestant named Prerna from Rajasthan, the rollover contestant takes over the hot seat.  The second question that was based on a poem by Saint Rahim: "Complete the doha _ nij man ki vyatha, man mein rakho goy, suni ithlaihein log sab, baati na lauhe koy" reminded host Amitabh Bachchan of his late poet-father Harivansh Rai Bachchan.

Big B recited the entire poetry by his late father and seemed at peace. The poetry meant that when somebody hears your pain, he or she will understand your pain but deep down they will thank God for not putting them in that situation. The megastar host further went on to explain that the thought isn’t coming from a bad place but the listener just feels relieved that he is exempted from such a major problem or tragedy. Amitabh Bachchan motivates the contestants of Kaun Banega Crorepati and gives interesting anecdotes about life and so on.
