Kavita Kaushik fasts to promote peace, love and brotherhood

In an earlier article today, we wrote about Sardarni kudi Neetu Wadhwa practicing fast on the occasion of Ramzan. Such a noble feat at a time when the country is gripped with religious hate crime incidents (Assam riots). And she is not the only television actor who is magnanimous in thought, attitude and action. Yes, we are talking about beautiful and dashing Kavita Kaushik aka Chandramukhi Chautala of SAB TV’s FIR (Edit II Productions). This superbly talented actress has now become a household name with her spirited performances over the years. As Chandramukhi, she is a tough cop fighting crime but in real life too, Kavita is someone who believes in the idea of fostering humanity and religious tolerance. What made us to say that? Well…she recently went on to tweet, “I have kept a roza today as a gesture of love, friendship n respect to all the muslims :-) Wish everyone a peaceful n happy ramzan. Aameen.”(sic) It’s indeed a wonderful gesture. We texted her to learn more about her Eid wishes, she replied, “Wishing everyone a peaceful, prosperous and happy Eid! Festival come to remind us to bring people closer and be God loving. Not fighting against each other. Love you all.” Kavita…you are truly a good soul!!!
