Kavita Kaushik to host a cricket match

Mandira Bedi was a trend setter. Being the first actress to host a cricket match she set the ball rolling. Following in her footsteps is another actress Kavita Kaushik. Kavita will soon be seen hosting a cricket match. An India v/s Sri Lanka live match that is scheduled at the end of August. Kavita affirmed, “It is something like an IPL match. It is not a cricket reality show as wrongly mentioned in a newspaper. I am going to sit in a studio and host this live match.” When asked her if she is going to have a co-host for the match, she said, “Yes, there is going to be someone from the cricket fraternity. As far as entertainment industry is concerned, I am told that I am the only one to host the match.” The match will be held in Mumbai and will be telecast on Zee Sports. This is sure one of the most exciting projects for Kavita. When asked her about her interest in the game, she replied, “I am not much interested in cricket but then I was not interested in dance either, but I participated Nach Baliye. There are times when we have to take up things for the purpose of work, keeping our personal interests aside. One thing is definite that cricket is in the blood of every Indian.” We do hope cricket does to you what it did for Mandira.
