MUMBAI: Television heartthrob Ankit Gupta enjoys a massive fan following, thanks to his impressive journey in the entertainment industry. From being part of several successful projects to becoming a household name as Fateh in Udaariyaan, Ankit has certainly carved a niche for himself.
He further cemented his popularity by participating in Bigg Boss Season 16, where he played the game with resilience and garnered immense support.
However, in recent times, the actor has been making headlines for his alleged breakup with rumoured girlfriend Priyanka Chahar Choudhary. The split reportedly led him to back out of their upcoming YouTube project.

In a recent interview, Ankit confirmed that he was offered the adrenaline-pumping reality show Khatron Ke Khiladi but chose to decline the opportunity due to prior commitments and personal reasons.
“I’ve been working on back-to-back projects. In hindsight, I feel I could have waited a little longer before taking up Bigg Boss,” Ankit revealed. “I could have mentally and physically prepared myself better before going. That’s the main reason I’m not accepting Khatron Ke Khiladi.”
The actor went on to share that despite having discussions with the show's team, his instincts told him it wasn’t the right time. “This is probably the first time my mind is saying, ‘I don’t want to do this.’ That’s why I’ve decided to take a two to three-month break. I’m not mentally, physically, or emotionally ready for such a demanding show,” he admitted.
Ankit concluded by expressing his desire to give his best whenever he takes on such a challenge. “Both Bigg Boss and Khatron Ke Khiladi are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities. I want to give my best to the show, so I’m willing to wait for another year to do Khatro Ke Khiladi’
While fans may be disappointed not to see Ankit taking on daring stunts this season, there’s no doubt his eventual appearance on the show would be worth the wait.
