The promo of Paritosh Painter’s Sri Adi Manav has long been airing on SAB but the show still hasn’t launched. Apparently, that left one to wonder why the show got delayed. Sri Adi Manav, which was initially supposed to launch in July end, hasn’t gone on air as yet. This weekly, based on the popular play Hear no, evil, see no evil and speak no evil will finally launch on 25 September.

Producer Paritosh Painter confirmed to us that the show is indeed launching on 25 September. However he refused to give the reason for its long delay.
A source though informs, ‘Sri Adi Manav was supposed to launch in July end but Kiku Sharda, who plays Manav fractured his left hand on the sets of Voice of India – Mummy ke Superstars. Kiku was performing a comic act for the Mummy ke Superstars grand finale. As a result, the shoot for Sri Adi Manav couldn’t take place.”
Interestingly, during that period one saw Kiku with a sling on the SAB show Bhootwala Serial. Well, one then didn’t realise that the poor chap had suffered a real fracture.
While Kiku remained unavailable, a close aide of the actor informs, “Kiku had fractured his left hand while shooting for Voice of India finale. It was quite a funny accident. As part of the show, he was supposed to come in a palkhi. Unfortunately, the lifters couldn’t manage his weight and so the palkhi turned and Kiku landed on his left hand thereby resulting in a fracture.”
Well, two months is a long time for the wound to heal. So, we reckon that poor Kiku must have resumed shoot for Sri Adi Manav. From hereon, one can be rest assured Kiku will be saying hear no palkhi, see no palkhi, speak no palkhi.
