MUMBAI: Veteran actor Sunil Lahri’s handsome son Krish Pathak has commenced his journey in the entertainment industry. The dapper actor has already been a part of a popular music video which garnered immense love from the audience. Well, Krish is all set to enthrall the viewers with yet another interesting project. The actor who was seen as a romantic hero in the first music video took a leap of faith and tried something quite different and unique. Krish will be a part of yet another music video based on the concept of friendship.

We got in touch with him and had the opportunity to interview him. Read the interview.

What's the project about?

As this is my second music video is totally different from the previous one. Its called JANTE KYA BHAI! By Poet Shaf. This song is more of a fun number. This is the next chill anthem I feel. This will be a song where each and every one will vibe too. It will make you sing along and you won’t realise you’re already grooving to it simultaneously. It’s the story of every best friend.’  My first music video ‘JIYUN KAISE’ released last month which hit 1 million in 24hours. It was a hardcore romantic number.

What’s the unique factor about the music video?

The USP is definitely its music and it’s very relatable to everyone. As each and every person has gone through a breakup phase in their life and we have one best friend who we will always come back to and pour our heart out. And this best friend will always tell you ‘AZAD TU RAHE, ABAD TU ’ just as the lyrics of the song.

How did you bag the project?

SHIVAM MALHOTRA (the director/producer of the song) one day called me and told me that I am sending you a song just to hear it. As soon as i heard the song i called him back and told Shivam that I’m hooked to the song after listening to it just once. So, then he told me that he wanted me to feature in the music video. I instantly agreed.

Tell us about the experience of shooting the same.

We decided to shoot this in a 2-day schedule at Shivam’s bungalow. After taking all the precautions and safety measures we started shooting. We didn’t have any script or any scenes ready as such and as it was lockdown we were limited to the locations. We made the scenes on the spot and shot it in the bungalow. And POET SHAF was fun to shoot with. We instantly hit it off with our chemistry.

We were a four person team with Shivam, the DOP , me and Poet Shaf. More than rehearsing and stuff we were just having fun with the song and Shivam captured it. It was a total spontaneous and creative shoot given the circumstances. And after watching the final footage I was amazed how great it turned out. To sum it up, it was a great creative team.

I hope this becomes the new friendship anthem. Hope people really love and appreciate it as much as my first music video. And I promise to continue to entertain with better content.
