MUMBAI: As Friendship Day draws near, it’s time to celebrate the bonds that brighten our lives. Actress Krutika Desai, who stars as Dhara in Sun Neo's Saajha Sindoor, shares her unique perspective on Friendship Day and her exciting plans for this year.
Krutika shared “While I believe we should cherish our friends every day, Friendship Day provides a special moment to appreciate those who add color to our lives. I think my life would be incomplete without my friends. Although my circle is very small, quality matters more than quantity. They are my best partners in crime, whether on a personal, professional, or spiritual level. This year, although I won’t be able to meet my best friends in person due to my shoot schedule, I’ll definitely video call them.”
Krutika plays the character of Dhara, the wife of Gagan (played by Sahil Uppal) in Sun Neo’s Saajha Sindoor. The show delves deep into the complexities of relationships and the struggles of women in society, addressing themes of love, betrayal, and societal challenges.
Revealing her plans for the special day, Krutika shared, “I plan to celebrate the day with joy and enthusiasm on set with the entire Saajha Sindoor team. In my childhood, we celebrated Friendship Day with cupcakes, pastries, and chocolates. This year, I plan to treat my co-stars, the production team, the direction team, the lighting team, and the hair team with chocolates to start the new month on a sweet and energetic note.”
“It’s all about creating a positive vibe and celebrating bonds that are truly invaluable. Even if someone nearby is not a friend, let’s be kind and share the sweet gesture—sometimes, all it takes is a bit of grace to be kind,” she concluded.
