Kumkum Bhagya fans go into nostalgia as Mugdha Chaphekar, Krishna Kaul and the rest of the cast reunite

MUMBAI: Kumkum Bhagya, one of Zee TV’s most iconic shows, has continued to evolve since its launch in 2014. Originally led by Sriti Jha and Shabir Ahluwalia as Pragya and Abhi, the show underwent several generational leaps to keep the narrative fresh. In 2019, the focus shifted to their daughter Prachi and her love interest Ranbir, portrayed by Mugdha Chaphekar and Krishna Kaul. After their exit in 2023, a third-generation storyline was introduced, starring Abrar Qazi and Rachi Sharma. However, this track concluded recently, paving the way for another major leap.

Enter Pranali Rathod who did bring a new set of audience. However, the void left by the previous generation is still there and fans of Kumkum Bhagya are still missing the chemistry between Krishna Kaul and Mugdha Chaphekar.
