Kunal Karan Kapoor beats Barun Sobti and emerges as the favourite TV personality of 2012 as per fan voting

It was nothing short of a England-Australia Ashes series or India-Pakistan one day match. What are we talking about? Well…our poll on favourite TV personality (male) for the year 2012. We had some heavyweights as contenders but what boiled down is a showdown in votes between Barun Sobti (Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon) and Kunal Karan Kapoor (Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha). Fans of both the celebs showed their support and things transformed into a neck-to-neck battle. Sometimes Kunal surged ahead and at the very other moment Barun put his head forward. The battle and support of fans was evident and prominent on out Twitter handle as well wherein Barun and Kunal fans kept talking about the poll. But at the time of closing the polling window, Kunal Karan Kapoor claimed victory over Barun Sobti by whisker of a margin. Kunal received 45 percent of the total cast votes whereas Barun’s number stopped at 44 percent. Gurmeet Choudhary was given third position by ardent TV fans. We congratulate Kunal and Barun for they both are winners in its true sense.
