Kunal Thakkur 'feels privileged' to be part of Himesh Reshammiya's The Xpose

Actor Kunal Thakkur of Bandini fame is excited about his role in the Himesh Reshammiya starrer The Xpose. Kunal who earlier played son to Ronit Roy in the successful TV show Bandini got cast for the role in the movie by sheer luck. Says Kunal, “I had invited Himesh bhai to watch my play Holi. He liked my performance in the play and I later got a call from his casting team for the movie.” Talking about his role in the movie, Kunal who has been part of shows like Mahabharat, Yeh Hain Aashiqui states, “I play the role of Ronnie Mukherjee who is a Bollywood star. The character draws reference to the yester year super star Joy Mukherjee. The guy will be extremely flamboyant and unapologetically flirtatious. Himesh bhai is like my family, much like an elder brother to me. He is extremely passionate about his work. This film Xpose is his vision and I am lucky to be part of it.” The Xpose which stars Himesh Reshammiya, Honey Singh, Irrfan Khan, Zoya Afroz and Sonali Raut releases today.
