MUMBAI: Zee TV's Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti has kept its audience entertained through its interesting storyline revolving around the innocent world of two adorable kids (Rishi and Roli), who have teamed up to rekindle the love between their parents and complete their ‘happy family.’ Together, they have vowed to be the glue, that will fill the cracks that have developed between their parents - Shubra (Neha Marda) and Kuldeep (Siddhaanth Vir Surryavanshi). While some high voltage drama awaits the audiences in the upcoming episodes, recently the antagonist of the show - Kuldeep's girlfriend, Samaira aka Sapna Thakur, surprised the audience as she appeared in a completely unrecognizable avatar for a special sequence.
Known for gripping plot twists, the latest track of Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti saw the resentful Samaira killing Shubra’s father after donning a maid’s avatar. Samaira wanted to get back at Shubra and she tells Kuldeep about her evil plan. She warns Kuldeep that if he doesn’t come to her she will kill Shubra's other family members. On the other hand, Kuldeep’s son Rishi blames himself for his grandfather’s demise without realising that it was Samaira in the maid avatar who killed him. In fact, everyone has been raving about Samaira's avatar and how she got into the character of a maid so well that no one could doubt her. In fact, Sapna Thakur did a lot of research to get the nuances of the character right.
Talking about the special preparation the actress underwent, Sapna revealed, “Whenever I come to know that I am going to get into a new avatar for a special sequence, I get very excited. In fact, when I got to know I am going to get into a maid’s disguise for Kyun Rishton Mein Katti Batti, I was very thrilled as I got to experiment even more with my character. I must say that this look was quite different from Samiara’s look. I was looking completely distinct with the mole on my face and a simple saree, and I must add that I enjoyed performing the scene. I also worked extremely hard on my voice modulation and postures to fit the bill of a typical maid. The team and my fans appreciated my efforts on how I had got several nuances bang on! I am very happy that the show has given me a chance to experiment a lot with the character.”
While the viewers are in for a mega twist in the upcoming episodes, will Kuldeep be able to tell Shubra about her father's real killer?
