Legal Hassle: Sony TV responds to Colors on Mika issue

Mika Singh

If you’ve been following the legal tassel between Sony TV and Colors, you’d know that the latter is in a soup, thanks to Mika Singh.

Well, it all started when Colors’ Comedy Night Live regular Mika decided to take part in one of the episodes of the channel’s archival Sony TV’s The Kapil Sharma Show.

Colors promptly slapped legal notice on Sony, asking them to stop the telecast of the episode. Its argument being Mika’s exclusive agreement with Viacom 18 Private Ltd. Sony TV has responded to the allegations by stating that they have no contractual or other legal relationship with Viacom18 Private Ltd and are not under any obligation, legal or otherwise, to accede to the peremptory demands made in the notice, a gossip site reported.

Looks like the episode in question will definitely air this weekend. Are you excited to watch it?
