Do Aur Do Pyaar

MUMBAI: Do Aur Do Pyaar is a movie that got the audience really excited as the teaser released in the month of January and it promised a good and unique storyline with never-seen-before on-screen pairings.

Everyone was eagerly waiting for this movie to release and when it finally did, movie buffs did not let the chance pass by them. The film is still running in theatres. Naturally, the cast, which includes Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, Ileana D'Cruz, and Sendhil Ramamurthy, has the crowd excited. Although the trailer provided us a decent notion of the plot, the movie still has a lot to give, we promise.

When the movie hit the big screens, the audience gave some very positive responses on day 1. The film opens in a calming tone, then takes an unintentionally humorous turn before continuing on towards joyful moments until it hits a major bump. Throughout, we were amazed by the actors' performances and the challenging circumstances the characters had to deal with.

Now while the audience is all praises for the movie, let’s look at the business aspect of the movie. The movie collected around Rs 0.03 Cr Indian net on its day 15. When talking about the worldwide collections, the movie collected around Rs 5.5 Cr.

When looking at the collections from day 1 to day 3, there was some growth. There was a slight dip in the numbers on day 4 and a stable pattern on all the following days. The collections went further down on day 8 but day 10 saw an upward trend as it was a Sunday. The collections dropped down on Day 11, a Monday. Even day 13 being a public holiday didn’t make much difference.

We can see that the numbers have been going down but it’ll be interesting to see how the movie performs on weekends.
