Lost Boy Productions and Balaji Telefilms join hands for a new show on MTV

Producer Vikas Gupta, a man who has now become a name to reckon with in the Indian television industry, has flourished under the tutelage of Ekta Kapoor. Ekta’s mentorship and Vikas’ creative mind added a new dimension to the space of youth entertainment on Hindi television. Vikas hit bull’s eye with differentiating content like Gumrah and The Serial on Channel V and the latest, Yeh Hai Aashiqui for Disney Bindass. Flexing their creative muscles further, Ekta Kapoor’s Balaji Telefilms and Vikas’ Lost Boy Productions have joined hands again for a new show on MTV, titled MTV Webbed. The show will finger upon the alarming incidents of cyber abuses which mar and tar the image and personality of young India. The topic is very relevant in today’s time. With the youth spending maximum time on social networking sites, and pouring their hearts out to strangers, their emotions can go for a toss when suddenly someone misuses their vital personal details for fun. We buzzed producer Vikas Gupta to learn more about the project but he remained unavailable for comment. The promo of the show is already out and looks interesting. This exciting show will go on air every Saturday, 7 pm from 14 September (2013).
