Ankit shared, “I have always bonded with all my co-actors and this time I am working with two heroines. Both have done Hindi and Marathi theatre work and have very good focus and are very passionate about their work. Infact one of the heroines is Rutuja, who has won a National Award for a play. So I am feeling very lucky that I am surrounded by talented performers. “
He further added, “The first time I went for a meeting, I felt like I had done enough work and that I was recognised and I met my director and the actors. We later started rehearsing and the director complimented us saying ‘very good’ and I felt confident. I later got to know that the director is a National Award winner and I was taken aback. He later told Rutuja that ‘Aree tumhara National Award kab aa raha hai’. I was surprised that she too has won a National Award. One thing I must say is that regional cinema and theatre actors are extremely focused and talented."
