MUMBAI: Maati Se Bandhi Dor is a one of a kind show which went on-air only recently. The daily soap is high on drama and features Rutuja Bagwe and Ankit Gupta in the leading roles as Vaiju and Rannvijay respectively.

In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Shiwani shared her role model in the television industry and the kind of roles she aspires to perform.
Shiwani shares, “Rupali Ganguly inspires me a lot. She has a decade long career and as an actor, I have seen how she has been through her share of criticism, compliments and struggles. She has grown as an artist from when she started her career and has accomplished newer heights. She is truly a great inspiration for me. I would love to share screen space with her someday.
Another artist I admire is Sudha Chandran. We all know what a good dancer she is and she too has come up the hard way after her leg accident.”
When questioned about the kind of roles she wants to perform in future particularly her dream role, Shiwani expressed, “I do not see myself doing only goody-goody and positive roles. Negative roles are a masala packed and much more dramatic.
