Madhuri Dixit's father passes away, to miss Jhalak finale shooting?

This is breaking news!!! In a sad development, Madhuri Dixit’s father Shankar Dixit, aged 91, passed away earlier today in the morning after suffering from prolonged illness. Madhuri’s father passed away in his sleep. His family was by his side. Madhuri said in a statement, "We'll miss him but we know he lived a full life. We thank all those who have offered their condolences and prayers." Madhuri, as we know, is one of the judges on Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa season 6 (Colors) and is yet to complete the shooting for the finale episode. We have learnt that Madhuri shot for the first half of the episode and might not be present for the rest of the schedule. A source from the sets said, “Everything happened all of a sudden and the creatives are trying to chalk out what is to be done if Madhuri does not shoot rest of her sequence.” We will soon come up with more updates!!!
