Tellychakkar spoke to Manav Gohil exclusively and asked him his take on the difference he sees in Television during the 2000s and now.

Manv said, “Earlier, television was majorly passion driven and was made with conviction. Not all shows worked but there was a fire to make good content.”

Manav added, “Now however, shows look good and healthy only on paper. They are mainly excel sheet driven and hardly focus on the content. It has become more corporate”

As far as leaps in the current shows are concerned, Manav said, “Leaps will work as long as we feed into the curiosity of the viewers. There is no guarantee that there will be success with leaps as long as makers focus on the storyline.”

This was our conversation with Manav. What are your thoughts on it?
