This isn't just another run-of-the-mill television series; it is something that resonates perfectly with the realities of today's society making it more relevant for the audiences. Led by stellar performances from Deepika Singh as Mangal, Sanika Amit as Lakshmi, Urvashi Upadhyay as Mangal’s mother-in-law, and Naman Shaw as Adit. The family drama is full of heart-tugging emotions.
In an exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Jiya Mustafa aka Saumya, opened up about the response from audience for her role and how she deals with negative comments.
Jiya Mustafa said, “Grey (character) nahi, Saumya toh black hai aur social media mein bhi bohot log hai jo use accept nahi kar pate toh hum chahe jitna bhi koshish karle, 600 logo ko bhi block kar chuki hu main lekin fir bhi, alag alag account bana ke jab gaaliya deni hoti hai aur jab gaaliya khaani hoti hai toh main nahi bach paati. Kabhi kabhi apne aap ko samjha leti hu ke ab negative kiya hai aur maine toh pehle bhi negative kiya hai. Ab main logo ko yeh bhi bolna chahti hu ki main kuch nahi kar sakti iss baarein mein. Agar casting walo ko lagta hai ke main negative better karti hu toh usme meri kya galti hai. Abhi aap mujhe bolte ho ‘Ma’am aap positive lead kyu nahi karti ho?’ toh yeh aap casting walo ko puchiye. Mujhe jo kaam milega woh main karungi. Aur mujhe negative karne mein bohot mazaa aata hai, looks ache hote hai aur overall there is a lot of tadka in a negative character. Meri koi complaints nahi hai, aur main character ko ek character ki tarah dekhti hu toh I just wish ki audience bhi yeh samajh paati ki humein bhi subah ko ek script milti hai, hum nahi likhte hai ye lines ya scenes. Hum bas woh follow karte hai…”
