In an exclusive conversation with TellyChakkar, Deepika shared her thoughts on fellow actress Dipika Kakar, who is currently battling stage 2 liver cancer. Offering words of strength and encouragement, Deepika expressed deep admiration for the Bigg Boss 12 winner.
“Dipika is immensely popular, especially on YouTube, and she recently made a return to television through a show on COLORS. She’s not only a fantastic actress but also an incredibly strong woman,” Deepika said. “Her husband Shoaib is a wonderful person, and they have a lovely family. I know her father — a very strong man — and we’ve crossed paths several times. Dipika is the daughter of an army officer, and that strength definitely shows in her spirit.”
Although the two actresses don’t speak often, Deepika revealed a personal connection, sharing, “Her father once stayed in my flat. I may not be in close contact with her, but I’ve always admired her resilience. Everyone goes through difficult times, and I truly believe this challenge will only make her stronger. She will overcome this, just like a fighter.”
