Manish Khanna replaces Sanjay Nath on Colors' Naagin

The replacement had to happen, given the kind of spat and bad energy that prevailed on the sets of Colors' Naagin, the upcoming show on Colors produced by Balaji Telefilms. Yes, we are talking about actor Sanjay Nath who was to play the lead Arjun Bijlani's father and husband to Sudha Chandran on the show. As already reported by us, Director Santram Verma's abusive behaviour created problems for the actor post which he was at the receiving end, being hit by the Director. After this, Sanjay did not report for shoot. And he apparently laid three conditions to the production house - Santram apologizing to him in front of the entire team, Santram being removed or he walking out of the project. As a result of this, the third option is what has been chosen, we hear. Sanjay has decided to walk out of the show. Sad state of affairs, this! Anyway, the show has to go on! And in comes seasoned actor Manish Khanna as replacement. As per sources, Manish has started shoot from yesterday, while Sanjay is already on his way back from Bikaner to Mumbai. Confirming the news, Sanjay told us, "Yes I have taken the decision to opt out of Naagin." When contacted, Manish confirmed the news to us saying, "I am in the shoot spot in Bikaner. It is a nice role, and I get to share screen space with Sudha Chandran after 14 long years. Out last appearance together had the sibling bond in Kahiin Kissi Roz." Truly said, show has to go on!
