Mazher Sayed, the cameo king

Has Mazher Sayed's character Samar been bumped off from Zee's Saat Phere? Since the actor hasn't been seen much on tv these days, we just called on him to check what's happening. "I'm very much a part of Saat Phere. Its just that my character is tangential due to the new twists and turns in the story. Next week, you'll see my character back in action as I'll expose Kaveri (Aanchal Dwiwedi) and Ginni in front of all the family members." For those uninitiated, Mazher plays typical son with middle class values. He's the only son in family and is pampered by all. However, he gets married to Kaveri (Aanchal Dwiwedi) who wants his property and business points out Mazher. We further queried Mazher about his role in Kahaani? "I love to be a part of Balaji and now over the years my role has shaped up well. I play an elderly character, "says Mazher. While the actor spends 20 days a month in Mumbai, he likes to be in Jaipur for rest of the days. "I like to be in Mumbai but my hometown is Jaipur. Recently, I visited Ajmer Sharif with my mother," says the chilled out actor. Any Bollywood offers? "Not as yet and I'm happy doing cameo roles in daily soaps," signs off Mazher.
