Actress Meera Deosthale, who has stepped in to play the older avatar of popular character Chakor in TV show "Udann", says she does not feel any pressure despite the viewership of the show.
The role of the younger Chakor was effortlessly played by child artist Spandan Chaturvedi.
Asked if there is additional pressure on her given the fact that "Udann" was doing well due to Spandan's charm, Meera told IANS: "I don't call it pressure. I don't believe in working under pressure. Spandan has done a great job and I will try my best to carry on what she has done, to make the show go to a new level and make it go higher."
Meera has previously proved her acting mettle in "Dilli Waali Thakur Girls" as Eshu. She had also featured in "Sasural Simar Ka" as Priya and an episodic on "Zindagi Wins".
Meera is excited about "Udann" as the character has many layers to it.
"It feels great to be part of this show. The moment I gave the audition, I wanted to do this role. This character has so many colours -- be it fear, determination, sacrifice...."
She also believes that the TV industry is flourishing these days.
"I think the concepts are changing a lot. we are trying to get more realistic concepts which can connect well with people easily."
