Meet Shabir Ahluwalia’s furry friend!

Shabir

MUMBAI: In today's fast-paced world, where human relationships can be fleeting sometimes, our furry friends remain our most loyal companions. Pets provide us with unconditional love, emotional support, and a sense of security, often becoming integral members of our families. This is beautifully illustrated in the show Pyaar Ka Pehla Naam Radha Mohan, where we got to watch a heartwarming bond between Shabir Ahluwalia's character, Mohan, and his onscreen son Manan’s (Shaurya Vijayvargiya) pet dog, Champi. He isn't just a pet; in fact, he recently played a crucial role in taking Mohan to Manan when he was kidnapped by Yug (Manit Joura).

An excited Shabir talks about his love for dogs and shares his experience shooting with one.

Shabir said, “Working with Champi a charming Labrador, on our show has been an absolute delight. From day one, his intelligence and friendly demeanour stood out, making every shoot smooth and enjoyable. Champi's ability to quickly grasp commands and his enthusiasm for performing never ceases to amaze me. His playful nature brings a vibrant energy to the set, endearing him to the entire crew. Watching Champi’s antics and heartwarming interactions with other cast members adds an extra layer of warmth to our show. Collaborating with such a talented and loving dog has truly been a rewarding experience.”

While Shabir is having fun on-set shooting with Champi, it reminds us of a similar scene in Hum Aapke Hain Koun, when Tuffy, a pet of the family, plays a crucial role in helping Madhuri Dixit’s character Nisha marry her love Prem, played by Salman Khan.
