MUMBAI: Colors TV has been a home to some of the most amazing fiction and reality TV shows. On the other hand, Sunjoy Waddhwa and Comall under their banner, Sphereorigins, have given us some really great shows like, Katha Ankahee, Pandya Store, Balika Vadhu, Silsila Badalte Rishton Ka, Gangaa, Mere Angne Mein, Saat Phere, Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon and many more.
Now, there’s a new show coming up on Colors TV, ‘Meri Bhavya Life’, which is produced by Sphereorigins. We will get to see Prisha Dhatiwala and Karan Vohra as the leads in the show. Prisha will play the role of Bhavya while Karan will be seen as Rishank.
Prisha Dhatiwala was recently seen in the show Mangal Lakshmi as Bhavya, her new character. This was an amalgamation between Mangal Lakshmi and the upcoming show Meri Bhavya Life.
In exclusive interview with Tellychakkar, Prisha Dhatiwala was asked about her character in the show and how similar or different it is from that of Mangal from Mangal lakshmi. While the shows are different, Prisha drew some parallels.
Prisha said, “Kahaniya kaafi alag hai lekin jo kirdaar hai Bhavya aur Mangal ka woh bohot zyada similar hai kyuki dono bohot strong female protagonists hai, dono ko apna stand lena aata hai aur dono bohot independant hai apni soch ko lekar aur samaaj ke aage jhukne walo mein se nahi hai. Jahan pe Mangal didi ki approach thodi alag ho sakti hai lekin Bhavya thodi si muhphat hai aur jali jawab deti hai, naye daur ki hai zyada. Wahi pe, Mangal didi se use yeh seekhne ko milta hai ki patience kitna zaruri hai aur har baar jawab ena hi zaruri nahi hota, sometimes no answer is also an answer. So dono ka ek bohot hi strong female protagonist wala aapko ek kirdaar dekhne ko milega. Aur yehi similarities draw ki hai maine bhi inn dono characters mein se.”
Meri Bhavya Life is a must-watch for those who enjoy meaningful storytelling rooted in everyday strength and real emotion. The show has great potential to become everyone's favourite because of its powerful storyline, fantastic performances and dealing with the most important topic of body shaming and body positivity, which is the need of the hour. It will air on Colors from 30th April at 7 pm.
