Monsoon weddings on Doli Saja Ke

With a show that’s named Doli Saja ke, it’s only apt that weddings are a regular feature. In the coming weeks, it will be not one but two weddings taking place on Doli Saja Ke. Interestingly, this will be a hat-trick of weddings for lead actress Barkha Bisht, a second one for Indraneil Sengupta and a first for Amar Upadhyay. Sounds confusing, doesn’t it? Well, we’ll clarify things for you. Barkha’s character Anupama will be married for the third time on the show. The latest groom is Samar (Amarr Upadhaya) who stepped into the show a few months ago. Anupama was earlier married to Chaitanya (Amit Sarin) and then to Daksh, that’s played by Barkha’s real life husband Indraneil Sengupta. Daksh will now get married to his first love Rupali (Shriya Bisht). So, how does it feel to be married for the third time in the show? “My husband is marrying someone else and vice versa. Well, our soaps are all about marriages and more marriages. We can’t do without them,” says Bisht. These marriages will take place in the coming weeks.
