MUMBAI: MTV Roadies continues to cement its status as one of the most iconic reality shows on television, where ambition and resilience collide in a high-octane quest for glory.
Over the years, the show has not only tested contestants to their limits but also witnessed intense rivalries among its gang leaders. One such memorable feud was between fan-favourite Prince Narula and actor Gautam Gulati.
In a recent interview, Prince Narula finally shed light on the root cause of their on-screen clashes. Reflecting on the friction during the previous season, Prince revealed that the tension began during the pre-audition phase.

"When we went to meet the audience before the auditions, Gautam made quite an entrance. The crowd was chanting his name. He walked in slow motion, and at first, we assumed it was just his style. However, when it happened again, we thought it was worth guiding him," Prince disclosed.
He added, "Like a brother, I approached him along with our director and suggested that walking in a bit faster would resonate better with the audience. It was meant as constructive feedback because the audience really adored him. Unfortunately, it seems he didn't take it well, and from that point on, we never truly got along on the show."
Prince also reflected on his own early experiences, crediting former gang leaders Neha Dhupia and Rannvijay Singha for guiding him when he first joined the show. "When I joined Roadies, Neha and Rannvijay explained how to conduct oneself on the show. I never felt bad about it; I saw it as an opportunity to learn from them."
Despite the on-screen tension, Prince revealed that they eventually managed to bury the hatchet. "After the show ended, Gautam and I resolved our differences. We settled things down."
Interestingly, Gautam Gulati is set to return to MTV Roadies as a wild card gang leader, reigniting anticipation among fans who are eager to witness the dynamic between him and Prince once again.
Will the two clash or collaborate this time around? Viewers are certainly in for an exciting ride.
