Raghu explained:
"Season 1 of Roadies was not a competition in the way people think. There was no official winner, yet many believe Ranvijay won the season—which isn’t the case. It was simply a journey undertaken by seven contestants, where a few eliminations took place along the way. The concept revolved around who would make it to the end, rather than declaring a single winner."
He went on to share more insights about the show’s early format:
"I just made things difficult for them—whether by limiting their food or cutting down on basic facilities. It was a fascinating experiment for me."
