Must Read! From Pratigya to Barsatein: TV shows which prove that Indian women are attracted to bad boys

MUMBAI: Television has become one of our daily sources of entertainment.

Everyday, there are millions of people who switch on their television sets either when they are bored and want to entertain them, or want to ease of their daily stress over some drama. Shows of various genres are showcased daily and there is all the more content which is consistently rolled out.

The mediums of entertainment have also expanded and people are now engaging in the digital medium too.

Well out of the many shows, we have observed that Indian women in television shows are often attracted to bad boys. Television show Barsatein stars Shivangi Joshi and Kushal Tandon in the leading roles which are one of the examples. Aradhana, a dedicated young journalist does not even realise when and how does she fall in love with Reyansh, the owner of the company, ignoring all his red flags.

Pinjra Khubsoorti Ka on Colors also showcased Riya Sharma and Sahil Uppal as Mayura and Omkar where the latter was arrogant and yet Mayura saw a better side of him which was caring and loving.

One of the most popular shows of all time and which also had a second installment was Mann Kee Awaaz Pratigya which showcased Pooja Gor and Arhaan Behll as Pratigya and Krishna. Krishna was showcased as a bad person who forcefully married Pratigya and later Pratigya understood that he comes from a family of goons but in reality he has a soft and loving heart.
