How do you feel about taking up a new show after so many years?
Well, I feel great. It is like coming home, as I am doing this new show with Zee TV.
Tell us about the story line of the serial.
This story is quite intriguing. The audience will love the storyline as it is unique and gripping effect. My character Mohan has two sides. The first is quite lively, and the other has too many shades. We will begin with his past life and then reveal how he changed. We will show you Mohan's journey and Radha’s journey. There are many more characters and a lot of twists and turns will come in gradually in the serial, making it extremely interesting.
What made you choose the character?
First of all, this character is very different from Abhi in Kumkum Bhagya. The only similarity between Mohan and Abhi is that they both play musical instruments. Moreover, as the character is new, I am looking forward to the challenge! And I cannot wait for the show to launch.
Do you miss the team of Kumkum Bhagya?
I miss them very much as it is a dream team to work with. The show is very close to my heart. I hope they can do this show as well.
So how excited are you about Shabir's new show?
