MUMBAI: Colors' long-runner show Choti Sarrdaarni continues to perform well inspite of having gone through an array of developments.
Apart from leading lady Nimrit Ahluwalia's brief exit and re-entry, the show went in for a five-year leap back in February.
Several entries and exits have taken place otherwise but it would be safe to say that the show is going in for its biggest change so far.
Now, the show is all set to witness another leap - this time one of 20 long years. That's right! Needless to say, this would mean that the kids in the show would grow up and more new entries are coming in as replacements.
Initially, it was reported that the show's leading lady Nimrit Ahluwalia would be continuing her journey in the show by portraying the role of her grown-up on-screen daughter, Seher.

Meanwhile, Avinesh Rekhi, who plays Meher's husband Sarabjit, is all set to bid adieu to the show post the 20-year-old leap.
Now, the latest breaking suggests that actor Shehzada Dhami has been roped in to play the grown-up Param Singh Gill in the show. Param's character is currently being portrayed by Aekam Binjwe, who replaced child artiste Kevina Tak to play the part after the show went in for the first time leap. Dhami, who was last seen in Yeh Jaadu Hai Jinn Ka!, has been signed to play the grown-up Param as he fits the bill perfectly.
Sources close to the show suggested that new artistes will be joining the principal cast members on the shoot.
