A page from the personal diary of Mrinalini Tyagi Hello everyone, this is Mrinalini Tyagi, known to you as Tejaswini of Pavitra Rishta on Zee TV. Here I am, to share an interesting anecdote of my life. I was born and brought up in Ghaziabad, Delhi and shifted over to Mumbai to give wings to my dreams. I did my schooling and college in Delhi. I am a part time MBA in HR from the Institute of Management Technology in Delhi. As acting was my passion, I decided to take it up as my career. But before acting happened, I participated in Femina Miss India contest of 2007 and by the grace of God was one of the finalists. I have done various ramp walk shows with well renowned designers. I have even worked in HR Consultancy for one and half years. Having said this, destiny had other plans in store for me. After giving numerous auditions, I got to play a cameo in Kitani Mohabbat Hai- Season 2. I had also appeared as wild card contestant in the MTV show ‘Fast and the Gorgeous’. In fact, I was the only one who entered the show through wild card. From childhood I had this dream becoming famous. Getting to know the real spice of life, I knew that I will have to get into my own shoes and work hard towards my goal without any support of a God father. The point to be noted here is that my father is not Rakesh Roshan who will set things for me well in advance. On the personal front, I am very much inclined towards astrology and I wear a Neelam stone for my impatient behaviour. My hobbies are shopping and driving. Talking about my husband Manan Modi, he is an Event Manager. We met during the Miss India contest where our eyes met, and rest is history. There was a phase in my professional life when I was tired of doing cameo, and wanted some promising and quality roles. My wish came true with the role of Tejaswini in Pavitra Rishta. Working as TV actor everybody’s dream is to become a household name and so is mine. I am sure that I have an exciting life ahead. The best moment of my life will be the ‘two minutes of my life’ when I sign the dotted lines on the contract paper of any upcoming show. I thank all the readers for reading my diary over here. It is time to bid adieu as I look forward for some great things to happen in life..
