Actress Charu Asopa, as we know got engaged recently to her on-screen sibling, Neeraj Malviya in the Star Plus show, Mere Angne Mein.
But what excited the actress more was the fact that she was going through the blues of getting engaged, both in real and reel life!!
Yes, it was a happy and memorable coincidence for Charu as she had to get engaged twice in a span of few days...
Says Charu, “Yes, it was a dress rehearsal of sorts, when I shot for my engagement sequence in Mere Angne Mein. And when I walked my way to getting engaged to Neeraj, it was my happiest moment.”
Charu and Neeraj got engaged at a short notice, and this actually upset many of Charu’s friends.
“Well, many of them were not aware of my engagement. Only our close relatives were present for the engagement, as it was a private affair. Neeraj’s grand father passed away recently, so we decided on not celebrating it in a big way.”
Ask Charu whether she could watch her on-screen sagaai, and the girl states, “No, I have not been able to. But I heard from my co-stars that it has come out well.”
On her wedding plans, Charu avers, “We will be tying the knot sometime in December this year or January 2017. The date has not been finalized yet.”
Charu is happy to have gotten an out and out romantic in Neeraj as her soul mate. Ask her about Neeraj’s best surprise till date, and she quickly states, “It has to be our Valentine’s day. Neeraj made a treasure hunt in my makeup room, and I ended up getting lot many gifts and love letters in that treasure hunt.”
Aww, have a blissful life, Neeraj and Charu!!
