Naina's look for Haldi ceremony inspired by Madhuri Dixit in Hum Aapke Hai Kaun

Hum Aapke Hai Kaun
MUMBAI: The movies of 90’s have had a long-lasting impression in the audience’s hearts.  While there were many, the most iconic movie was Hum Aapke Hain Kaun and practically every girl has tried to replicate that fashion and style at some point in their life. Well, Naina played by Ashi Singh of Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai is no different. Ashi has taken cues from the diva Madhuri Dixit’s style from the movie to ensure she looks her prettiest best for her wedding ceremonies. Viewers are eagerly waiting for their favourite #SameerNainaKiShaadi as they recreate the 90-‘s wali shaadi on-screen.

For the Haldi sequence, Ashi is seen wearing a yellow kurta-salwar which is similar to the one worn by Madhuri Dixit in Hum Aapke Hai Kaun. Right from her outfit, her accessories, make-up everything is on point. Makers felt that the way Madhuri’s looks in the movie won many hearts, Naina too with this look have an increased fan base.

Ashi said “Though I am a fan of Deepika Padukone and Anushka Sharma from the modern times, I am a very huge fan of Madhuri Dixit if we talk about actresses from the 1990’s. She is an iconic actress and I was very excited to wear the outfit and have a make-up to look somewhat similar to her. Of course I am not going to look like her, but it’s a different feel. Moreover, Madhuri is my mother’s favorite actress, so she got more excited about it when I told her about it. I feel lucky to be part of this show as I’m getting to live the 90’s and experience the 90’s wala romance and now the shaadi. ”

Interestingly, Randeep a.k.a Sameer’s favourite actor is Salman Khan who played opposite Madhuri in Hum Apke Hai Kaun. It will be a visual treat for the viewers to watch Naina & Sameer recreate the magic of 90’s hit Jodi Madhuri & Salman on TV screen.
