Ashish Kaul roped in for Star Bharat’s Musakaan
Seasoned actor Ashish Kaul, who is presently seen in Colors’ Roop – Mard Ka Naya Swaroop, will soon enter Star Bharat’s Musakaan. In the show, Ashish will be seen playing a rich guy who would come to the mehfil to have jolly time. We hear he will have a long-running role.
Pooja Banerjee in &TV’s Vikram aur Betaal
&TV’s next big-ticket launch will be Peninsula Pictures’ fantasy drama tale, Vikram aur Betaal. Though the casting for the lead characters is still on, the makers have finalized a few popular names to play leads in the episodic stories. Actress Pooja Banerjee who was last seen in ALTBalaji’s Kehne Ko Humsafar Hai, has been locked in for an episodic tale in Vikram aur Betaal. Pooja, who is also slated to be part of the reboot of Kasautii Zindagi Kay on Star Plus, will play a royal princess in one of the tales.
Shika Singh wants Kanchi Kaul to join husband Shabbir Ahluwalia in Kumkum Bhagya
Though Shikha Singh and Shabbir Ahluwalia’s characters are always fighting in the serial Kumkum Bhagya, they share a great friendship off screen. Recently, Shika, who essays the role of Aalia in the serial, was asked by a fan who does she want to include in the cast of Kumkum Bhagya and she said it should be Kanchi Kaul. We all know that Kanchi is Shabbir Ahluwalia’s better half.

Chahatt Khanna confirms her divorce
Actress Chahatt Khanna who rose to fame with her character in the serial Bade Acche Lagte Hai was away from her acting career for quite some time as she was enjoying motherhood. Recently, she grabbed headlines when she uploaded a photo and hashtagged it as a single mom hinting on separation with her husband. The actress has confirmed the news while talking to a leading media portal and mentioned that she has been living separately for a week and requested the media for some privacy. She also said that she can’t tell the reason why the separation happened as it’s too personal. She said that she will be resuming work soon.
Sanaya Irani and Ashish Sharma are back together

To which, she said that there are many people who watch saas-bhau serials even today and that can never fade away but the digital medium is also increasing very rapidly. She believes that both television and the digital world are doing equally well when it comes to viewership.

Vahbiz back from a refreshing trip to Lonavala
Vahbiz Dorabjee makes sure to take a break from work regularly to refresh herself. Her recent trip to Lonavala was nothing but rejuvenating. “We just went for a day’s trip to Lonavala. It was my friend Poonam Preet’s birthday. I went with Sanjay, Poonam, Rafi Malik Izan, Nupur Sanon, Malhar and Priya. We had a great time. We just went for one day,” she says.
The actress says that the trip was well-needed and was amazing. “Who doesn't love short breaks even if you go for one day, you feel so refreshed. You have a change of surroundings and you just enjoy yourself so much. You just feel high on happiness. It was super fun and the weather was so gorgeous. For actors, it's definitely important to take a break especially when you are doing a daily soap programme because we cannot afford to take many holidays as we are working round the clock. Even one day helps energise you,” she shares.
Talking about the trip, she adds, “Lonavala was so beautiful, foggy and green in the rainy season. We had a great time. We went to this place called Lions Spot and ate at Lions Dhaba. The place was gorgeous as it was at the lakeside. Many people thought I had clicked the picture in Kashmir when they saw my picture from there. It was so beautiful! We dipped our legs into the water and just relaxed. Then we went towards the lake.”
