MUMBAI: Set in the backdrop of 1947, pre-partition India, Lahore, Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye narrates the story of three women, Amrit (Gracy Goswami), Vashma (Anchal) and Radha (Pranali), who set on a journey to conquer their dreams and their new found love, all at the brink of independence. The makers wanted to shoot the Punjab part of the show at actual locations and what better than the holy city of Amritsar. And post the shoot of some crucial sequences, there was free time left for the artists where Shagun thought that he will take a nap and post that he will be fresh as a daisy to shoot for the remaining sequence.
When he was taking his soulful naps his colleagues decide to take this picture of his to take a funny dig on him some day
Watch the magic of 1940s pre-partition India on Kyun Utthe Dil Chhod Aaye, 25th January onwards, Monday to Friday at 9 PM only on Sony Entertainment Television.
