Natasha Sinha, who essayed the loving mother of Karan in Zee TV and Rajshri Productions’ Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli, is livid as she missed out on a meaty role in Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show Humsafar, produced by Sphere Origin. As per our source, she was to play mother of the female leads, but that was not to happen. Letting out her disappointment to Tellychakkar.com, Natasha said, “It is true that I was finalized to play the mother in Sony’s upcoming show. I went through as many as 8 look tests and even shot with them for a day. But at the last minute, the channel decided to drop me, and the reason given was that I did not look the ‘endearing’ mother. It was really a funny reason to give, and I wonder why they could not notice this when I gave my audition for the role. In any case, let bygones be bygones.” Natasha Sinha is presently shooting for Vikram Bhatt’s Kurukshetra where she plays the central character of the mother in the family. Natashaji, better luck next time!!
