Neetha Shetty to feature in Epic Channel's (soon to be launched) Siyaasat

Epic Channel has been in news for a while for its interesting line-up of historical shows but, there is no trace of the channel on air. Hence, when news of its yet another upcoming show knocked our door we first tried calling up the owner of the channel, Mahesh Samat to know about the channel’s status but we could not reach him. But with information in hand that the channel is all set to launch soon, we are here to give you details about what one of its show would be like. Called Siyaasat, it will be a tale of Akbar’s son Salim’s life. The show is being produced by first time producers Green Light Productions. Neetha Shetty of Ghar Ki Lakshmi Betiyann fame will essay the role of Salim’s first wife Manbhawati Bai. When contacted she confirmed the same and said, “I play a drunken queen and my role is just a cameo.” This is a 34 episodic series and Neetha will be seen in 24 episodes.
