Neha Bamb to return with Vidhwa

Neha Bamb who was last seen in Maayka is now all set to return on the small screen with VG productions upcoming show Vidhwa on Colors. The show is likely to go on floors from January 5, though the makers have not got any definite time slot or launch date for the same. A source says, “Neha will essay one of the most important roles in the show. We approached her do do this show and she liked this character so she accepted it immediately. Moreover we went through some creative changes for the show. Amarr Upadhyay will play a pivotal role in the show, initially he was supposed to be there only for a few episodes but now his role has been extended and he will be there for a long time and may play the parallel lead later on. Anurag Nigam will play the male lead and Samrin Zaidi has been finalized opposite him. Gajendra Chauhan is also part of the show. Our team was ready to start shooting however because of some issues it has been delayed till January 5. As the name suggests it is a story of a widow who remarries against everyone’s wishes and hence will have to face troubles through out her life. The backdrop of the story is set in the North where widow remarriage is considered a sin in some remote villages.” Neha didn’t revert to our calls. V Kumar, of VG productions confirms this and says, “We are going to start shooting for the show and Neha is doing this show.”
