MUMBAI: Actor Vikram Singh Chauhan, who is known for his roles in shows like Qubool Hai, Jaana Na Dil Se Door, Ek Deewaana Tha and currently playing the lead in Star Plus’ Yehh Jadu Hai Jinn Ka, has discovered hidden chef in him in the midst of lockdown.

Vikram’s family resides in Indore and he is managing household work and cooking all alone here in Mumbai.

Someone like Vikram, who has never cooked in his life, faced difficulties in the beginning and now he has become a pro in cooking.

He told us, “When the lockdown happened I was clueless what to cook. My mom taught me to make dal khichdi which was not bad for a first timer. I never thought making rotis would be so challenging. Then later I started experimenting and watched a couple of recipes on Youtube. Now, I can make dishes like rajma chawal, different types of vegetables, kadhi and a lot more.

Lockdown has taught us a lot of things. I gained all the more respect for my house help. I have become more busy than my normal routine. I have to manage time doing household things, cooking, yoga and workout classes.”
