Nominees for the Twelfth Indian Telly Awards: Weekly Serial...Time to vote

Of late Tellychakkar.com has been regularly writing about the different actors and shows that have been nominated in The Twelfth Indian Telly Awards. Taking this trend forward, today we write about the shows that are nominated in the ‘Weekly Serial’ category. By ‘Weekly Serial’ we mean the shows that you usually get to watch on the weekends while enjoying a cup of tea. Talking about the shows… Going alphabetically, Sony Entertainment Television's C.I.D. (Firework Productions) ranks first in our list. This show has been entertaining us for more than a decade with a team that solves crime stories. Next on our list is Sony Entertainment Televisions’ Crime Patrol - Season 4 (Optimystix Productions). This particular show focuses on real life crime stories which help create awareness on the crime front. Yet another weekly show that seems to be a must on TV was Channel V’s Gumrah Season – 1 (Lost Boy Productions). It dealt subtly with teen related crime activities. Besides, Life OK’s Savdhan India @ 11 - India Fights Back too showcases crimes committed in our country. However, this one focuses on a particular region at a given time. If that is not all, these stories are not just about the crime committed, but they are also about the people who fought against them. Therefore, it’s a bit different in comparison to the other crime shows on TV. Lastly, we have Colors’ Shaitan: A Criminal Mind.
